The laser tube is relatively easy to absorb dust, so we need to pay attention to the cleaning of the laser tube, especially the cleaning of the dust on the laser tube lens.
1. Pollutants: fine dust or flocs
Assuming it is just some fine dust or floc, you can use an air balloon to blow off the surface pollutants. Remember not to use factory compressed air, which will create an absorbent film on the lens surface.
2. Fingerprint pollutants
Assuming that there are fingerprint-type pollutants, you can use alcohol to wipe quietly, be sure to avoid wiping hard, and swiping the surface as soon as possible is conducive to the evaporation of the liquid, and do not leave streaks. Reagent-grade alcohol, paper-handled cotton swabs, or high-quality surgical cotton balls are recommended.
3. Oil droplets, saliva
You can use a small cotton ball to dip a little acetic acid and wipe the surface with little force. Wipe off excess white vinegar with a dry cotton swab. Immediately wipe the surface with alcohol dampened cotton swab or cotton ball to remove residual acetic acid.
4. Serious splash
For seriously polluted lenses, you can use polishing paste, drop about 4 drops of the shaken polishing paste onto a cotton ball, and wipe with the cotton ball’s own weight, so as to avoid scratching the lens with the polishing paste. When stopping polishing, try not to stay in one center for too long. If there is a change in color, stop wiping immediately.
