Note:
1-In order to ensure a good operating environment for the laser and reduce the probability of failure caused by condensation. It is strongly recommended to prepare an air-conditioned room for the laser, so that the temperature in the air-conditioned room is ≤28°C and the relative humidity is ≤50%. The chiller should be placed in a different space from the laser. It is strictly forbidden to place the chiller in the laser air-conditioned room.
2-The laser head works at ambient temperature. In order to avoid condensation on the laser head, the cooling water temperature of the external optical path needs to be adjusted to room temperature. It is strictly forbidden to use low-temperature cooling water to cool the laser head.

 

How to prevent laser condensation:

1-If conditions permit, a separate air-conditioned room should be built for high-power lasers. The water cooler should be placed in a different space from the laser. It is strictly forbidden to place the water cooler in the laser air-conditioned room;
2-The ambient temperature of the independent space where the laser is placed should be lower than 35°C, and the ambient humidity should be lower than 60%;
3-It is recommended that the equipment cabinet adopts a sealed design and install industrial air conditioners to keep the cabinet constant temperature and humidity, which can effectively prevent laser condensation;
4-When the ambient temperature and humidity are too high, there will be a dehumidification process of about 15 minutes when the laser is turned on. This is normal and it can work normally after the alarm is lifted;
5-The cooling water temperature requirements of the laser QBH interface are relatively loose. The dual-temperature and dual-control chiller can appropriately increase the set water temperature to be higher than the dew point, but the set water temperature must not be higher than 30°C;
6-Every time you restart the machine, you need to follow the correct power on and off sequence.
Warning: The laser should not be turned off while the chiller is still running!

 

What to do if condensation occurs on the laser?

1-If condensation is found on the laser, shut it down immediately;

2-Wipe off the condensed water on the laser housing and start the laser after the condensation is completely eliminated;

3-Cool down the environment to meet the required area.

 

Summer rainy day laser protection:

There are many thunderstorms in summer. To avoid damage to the laser during heavy rain, please disconnect the main power supply of the laser, and raise the electric control cabinet and laser chiller to prevent water from soaking and generating huge repair costs. For workshops with low-lying buildings, personnel should be arranged to be on duty to do a good job in flood prevention and waterlogging prevention to minimize property losses. If the equipment is wading in water, do not blindly power on the test.
